The Friday evening PBSnewshour ends with the best example of how to run a meeting. It's a short interview, mostly monitored by Jim Leherer--the best interviewer in the business.

Notice that he is good at introducing the topic, restating points, framing questions and uniquely breaking down the issues, rather than listening to the whole "speech" first (e.g., "Wait a minute, do you agree with that point, David."). There are structure points, too, see if you can see the techniques.
It is an informal form of parliamentary procedure. You must go through the interviewer to speak--some variations, sometimes, but the interviewees know the protocol. It's Jim's meeting.
Do not let people rudely interrupt there point and allow all to talk, even specifically encourage some members. The larger the meeting the more it becomes parliamentary procedure style. You don't want that formal method with small groups up to six people.
